Cognate with West Frisian ûnswiet (“unsweet”), Dutch onzoet (“unsweet”), German Low German unsööt (“unsweet”), German unsüß (“unsweet”), Swedish osöt (“unsweet”), Icelandic ósætur (“unsweet”).
