  1. (countable, uncountable) (toxicology, venoms) An involuntary muscle twitch, usually localised and temporary, but that may be intensified and prolonged fatally by particular poisons and venoms such as acetylcholinesterase inhibitors.

  3. (countable, uncountable) The process of becoming fasciculate, of growing together in clusters of fascicles.
