Always show me the structure of the sentences (part of speech)

Part of speech indicates whether a word in a sentence is a verb, adjective, noun, adverb or any other category. When disabled the sentence structure can still be shown when looking at a sentence with the "Show me the sentence structure" button.

Use Web Audio API for playing sounds

We created a different system for playing audio. This allows your system to play multiple audio files at the same time, improving the experience when learning with background music or sound effects. This is especially useful for iOS.

Automatisch afspelen van gegenereerde spraak inschakelen

We sometimes run artificial intelligence on your device for the pronunciation of words and sentences when we do not have an audio fragment from a native speaker. The speech quality of these artificial intelligence models may vary between devices and are not checked by us. We indicate when we use such an audio fragment during listening.

Switches the font to a friendlier font for dyslectics.

Your emoji theme

We are showing you images for certain words that correspond to your selected emoji theme. When the theme does not have an image we fall back to the default emoji.
