In summary

Inherited from Ottoman Turkish طوار (davar, “cattle”), from Old Anatolian Turkish طوار (ṭavar, davar), from Proto-Turkic *tabar (“wares, goods, livestock”). Cognate with Old Uyghur tʾβʾr (tavar, “goods, livestock”), Karakhanid تَڤَرْ (tavar, “property, wealth, cattle”), Bashkir тауар (tawar, “wares, goods, merchandise”). Note also Middle Armenian տաւար (tawar), a Turkic borrowing.
