Compare nonstandard güeno from bueno (“good”), agüelo from abuelo (“grandfather”), güelvo from vuelvo (“to return”), where /bwe/ becomes /ɡwe/. A similar phenomenon occurs in the dialectal pronunciation of Lithuanian buvai as /ɡwuei/.
