Etymologie (Engels)

From Russian маршру́тка (maršrútka), colloquial shortening of маршру́тное такси́ (maršrútnoje taksí, “routed taxicab”), from маршру́т (maršrút, “route”), referring to a planned route that something follows, and такси́ (taksí).
