Etimologia (Inglese)

In summary

From Ottoman Turkish توكنمك (tükenmek, “to come to an end, to be totally consumed”), from Old Anatolian Turkish [script needed] (düken-), reflexive of Proto-Turkic *tüke- (“to come to an end”). Related to Proto-Mongolic *tögüs- (“to come to an end”), hence Mongolian төгсөх (tögsöx, “to come to an end”), perhaps from language contact. Cognate with Old Turkic [script needed] (tüke-, “to come to an end”), Azerbaijani tükənmək (“to end”), Kyrgyz түгөнүү (tügönüü), Southern Altai тӱгенер (tügener), Turkmen tükenmek (“to be finished”), Uzbek tugamoq (“to end”).
