  1. (Greek) Husband of Cassiopeia, king of Eritrea, father of Andromeda. There may be two mythical kings by this name.
  2. A circumpolar constellation of the northern sky, located between Draco and Cassiopeia and representing the king Cepheus from Greek myth. It contains the star Alderamin.
