Character

The third letter of the Arabic alphabet. Its name is تَاء (tāʔ) and it has the sound of English t. It is preceded by ب (b) and followed by ث (ṯ).

Symbol

1. The twenty-second letter in traditional abjad order, which is used in place of numerals for list numbering (abjad numerals). It is preceded by ش (š) and followed by ث (ṯ).
