Etimologie (Engels)

In summary

From Ottoman Turkish یورلمق (yorulmak, “to be tired”), from Old Anatolian Turkish [script needed] (yorul-, “to be tired”). According to Nişanyan the term is derived from Old Anatolian Turkish [script needed] (yorı-, “to walk”), see yürümek for more. Or alternatively passive of yormak (“to tire”), however Nişanyan also thinks yor- is a back-formation from this verb.
