A paired structure found in mammals including humans that develops in the early stages of embryonic development and contribute to the formation of internal female reproductive organs; precursor to the upper vagina, uterus, and Fallopian tubes.

Etimologie (Engels)

Named after German physiologist Johannes Peter Müller (1801–1858), who described the ducts in 1830.
